Shen Yanchuan

Founder | Team Leader

Over twenty years of experience in corporate finance, industry investment and equity investment, spanning securities firms, industrial company investment departments and international investment organisations, with a sustained focus on advanced manufacturing, technology innovation and supply chain upgrading.

From 2000 to 2005, worked at a securities firm on corporate financing, restructuring and transaction support, building experience in capital markets and corporate finance services.

From 2005 to 2011, worked in an industrial company’s investment department on supply chain acquisitions, industry consolidation and investment project management, developing experience in industrial investment and M&A.

From 2011 to 2016, served as Vice President at Index Ventures, assessing investment opportunities and company value and advancing transactions. He developed investment recommendations through analysis of competition, core capabilities and long-term growth potential, connecting research, due diligence and execution.

Co-founded Bojin Ventures in 2017. He leads team strategy, investment focus research, priority project assessment and major transactions, coordinating investment activity and industry partnerships.

Focuses on investment opportunities in advanced manufacturing and technology, emphasising operating fundamentals, technical competitiveness and long-term growth, supported by industry research and risk assessment.

Lin Zhiheng

Core Team Member

Holds undergraduate and master’s qualifications in biomedical engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His experience spans medical equipment development, clinical application support, product marketing and healthcare investment, with a focus on medical devices and related technologies.

From 2006 to 2012, worked in medical equipment development and clinical application support, gaining experience in both product development and practical use.

From 2012 to 2016, worked in medical product marketing and hospital channels, maintaining close contact with healthcare providers’ needs and product applications.

From 2016 to 2019, served as Senior Investment Manager at Source Code Capital, responsible for project research, investment assessment and due diligence. Drawing on medical equipment development and marketing experience, he assessed technical capabilities, practical value and commercial prospects, contributing to investment proposals and transactions.

Joined Bojin Ventures in 2019 and established its medical technology investment team, leading research and investment in medical devices, rehabilitation equipment and life science tools.

Focuses on product validation, clinical value and commercial capabilities, emphasising reliability in practical use and long-term demand for medical products.

Tang Yu’an

Core Team Member

Has an industrial engineering background from South China University of Technology and experience in manufacturing management, supply chain development and operational improvement, spanning manufacturing operations, industrial investment platforms and portfolio management.

From 2006 to 2012, worked in production planning, supply chains and factory operations at an electronics manufacturer, developing experience in shop-floor management and production organisation.

From 2012 to 2017, contributed to a new factory project and supplier restructuring at an industrial equipment company, continuing work in production operations and supply chains.

From 2017 to 2020, worked at an industrial investment platform on portfolio companies’ operational improvement, applying manufacturing experience to business support and portfolio management.

Joined Bojin Ventures in 2020 to develop its portfolio management system, supporting portfolio companies in organisational development, operations, supply chain optimisation and industry connections.

Addresses companies’ immediate operating priorities, focusing on practical issues in production delivery, supply chain collaboration and organisational management.

Xu Jinglan

Core Team Member

Has an accounting background from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and over twenty years of experience in auditing, financial due diligence, corporate treasury and risk management. Her work focuses on financial analysis, risk reviews and portfolio monitoring.

From 2002 to 2008, worked at an accounting firm in auditing and financial due diligence, building experience in financial verification and transaction analysis.

From 2008 to 2013, managed budgeting, treasury and post-acquisition financial integration within a manufacturing team, contributing to financial management across business operations.

From 2013 to 2016, worked at an equity investment organisation on project risk control and exit arrangements, gaining investment management and transaction risk review experience.

Co-founded Bojin Ventures in 2017, overseeing investment risk reviews, valuation management and exit proceeds. She uses financial and operating information to support project assessment and portfolio management.

Focuses on cash flow, financial information quality and transaction risk, monitoring portfolio companies’ operating changes and providing financial and risk management support for investment decisions.

Ye Qinghe

Core Team Member

Holds an undergraduate qualification in economics and a master’s degree in finance from Xiamen University. Her experience spans commercial banking, investment research and institutional communication, with a focus on project research, partnership coordination and portfolio information monitoring.

From 2011 to 2015, worked in a commercial bank’s corporate banking department, developing experience in corporate financial services and business communication.

From 2015 to 2019, worked at an investment organisation in research analysis and portfolio reporting, building experience in data analysis, information management and ongoing monitoring.

Joined Bojin Ventures in 2019, contributing to project research, institutional communication and portfolio monitoring. She consolidates project progress, operating information and partnership matters to support assessment and ongoing management.

Focuses on information accuracy and effective communication, connecting companies, institutional partners and the investment team while following project developments and partnership needs.

Zhou Chengyue

Core Team Member

Holds undergraduate qualifications in automation and a master’s qualification in control science and engineering from Zhejiang University. He combines industrial research and development, product management and technology investment experience, focusing on advanced manufacturing and intelligent technologies.

From 2005 to 2010, worked in industrial automation development and product engineering, gaining practical experience in industrial technology and engineering.

From 2010 to 2014, managed industrial equipment product planning, customer technical discussions and supplier assessments, contributing to product management and supply chain collaboration.

From 2014 to 2016, worked at an industrial investment organisation on technical due diligence and project investment, applying industrial technology experience to investment research.

Co-founded Bojin Ventures in 2017, leading investments in advanced manufacturing, robotics, industrial software and intelligent sensing, alongside ongoing industry research, project assessment and investment management.

Focuses on engineering readiness, product reliability and potential for large-scale deployment, with particular attention to the connection between technical strengths and real industrial needs.
